I studied Fine Arts in Sydney and on completion in 1989 began a Mural Painting business. I have been painting Murals Professionally since then and in 2010 moved to Teralba and bought the Gallery now named Flying Spanners Gallery & Studio. I work and exhibit at this Gallery, and recently have become involved with Street Art Projects in Newcastle and Hamilton; I have painted the Pillar People down Hunter & Beaumont Streets along with numerous Signal and Electrical Boxes.
When painting Murals and Street-Art Objects, I work in Acrylic House Paint; this generally involves a layering of paint and the imagery is generally light-hearted and lightly humorous. My Gallery work is primarily Oil Painting on Canvas. My subject matter revolves mainly around botanical imagery, painting detailed and realistic images, often in a lightly abstract manner. I believe in treading lightly on the earth.
