Leslie Duffin holds a Certificate in Ceramics and an Advanced Diploma of Fine Art from Newcastle Art School (TAFE) After completing her studies, Leslie founded Finite Gallery at Caves Beach, where she exhibits not only her own work, but also the work of established and emerging artists and artisans from throughout the region. Leslie was the winner of the inaugural Laman Street Art Prize with her ceramic sculpture, ‘The Faceless Men’. She has been a finalist in the Gosford Art Prize, The Newcastle Emerging Artist Prize and The Newcastle Club Foundation Acquisitive Art Prize.
Leslie’s work encompasses painting, drawing, ceramics, photography and jewellery-making. In her studio at Caves Beach, Leslie concentrates on her smaller works, usually jewellery, drawing and small paintings in oil or acrylic.
