My art journey really began with retirement from working as a Special Needs teacher.
I am fortunate to travel our beautiful country in our Caravan for extended periods and am inspired by the intense colour and textures I experience. When I’m not travelling I share my time between the Lake with my family and at Scotts Head.
I am constantly drawn to our amazing oceans and love to experiment with vibrant watercolours, inks and acrylics to create movement and hopefully capture the emotion and my deep connection to it. My paintings are unique as they just evolve as I allow the process to happen spontaneously.
I am also passionate about animal conservation and after a trip to Africa I created “Little Tusker Designs” to contribute to projects protecting endangered animals. I am presently experimenting with collages for the next fundraiser.
I am fortunate to have my art in many private homes within and outside Australia. I am extremely grateful to frequently have my art on display at Ocean Blue Gallery in Belmont.
