Born in the snowy Mountaings in 1954.
I am a wife, mother to three, Grandmother to 6, and great grandmother to 2. all before the age of 60. I went Unversity in my 30s to become a registered nurse.
I love to walk daily with my husband and miniture pincer. I ride or swim 2 to 3 days a week And I’m Vice President to Lake Macquarie Garden Club. My garden was in Lake Macs Open Garden Scheme 2 years ago. and featured in Hunter Lifestyle Magazine.
In the past I have a background in accreditored teaching of Aerobics and Physical education.

I loved drawning from a very early age. I started Painting in 1993 on a regular basis. And once I picked up the paint brush there was no stopping me. I loved painting with acrylics and for many years followed artists like Christine Whipper and Kate Belton with decorative Painting.

Later on I started to teach myself water colour. I have travelled to Bathust for the winter Art School where I painted with David Taylor and Ross Patterson.

10 years ago I discoved oil paints which I just love to paint with. And had a few years learning oils with Graham Cox. I love painting with all mediums though water colour will always be my favourite. I have painted with a group of friends every week for many years, and I teach on occasion on and off during these years.
I have a small home studio and gallery, and as I am about to retire from nursing I about to teach art on a regular basis would love to teach to small informal groups.
