Alina lives in the beautiful Lake Macquarie region near Newcastle Australia. Her love of water and especially idyllic coastal landscapes was inspired by holidays spent in the stunning Tuncurry region in the Mid North Coast of NSW
Her artwork is inspired by the many faces of water that are found on our beautiful planet – whether gentle waves lapping a peaceful shore or a ferocious surf break pounding a rocky outcrop, a gentle rain shower or a flooding downpour, light flakes of snow or brooding cloud formations, snowy vistas or refracted light dancing through gentle ripples lapping a sandy beach.
Alina has worked as a nurse and white water rafting instructor, but she loves to paint. She is quickly growing a following in Australia and overseas, but in the meantime her works are very affordably priced.
She would like to acknowledge people who have inspired her, especially Joe Cornelius (aka Mural Joe), Mark Waller and Scott Christensen. Alina hopes that she likewise will inspire and encourage others.
Many recent works have been commissions or specific pieces targeted for charity donations.
A committed Christian, Alina is passionate about using her art for the good of humanity. She donates 10% of all income from her art to Compassion Australia, to support their life changing work rescuing children from poverty around the world.
