to participate in the Lake Macquarie Open Studios Tour

    Mission Statement: A platform for independent artists on Lake Macquarie to open their studios to display and sell their works, and for attendees to experience a working studio.

    Dates: 13th and 14th November 2020. Future Open Studios Tours to be held in March and June. This application form is not required to be submitted again for entry to future tours.

    Cost: An annual membership fee of $50 covers participation in all Open Studios Tours in that financial year. This fee supports the website development and maintenance, marketing of the events and studio signage.

    Essential Selection Criteria:
    To be considered for the Open Studios Tour the artist and studio must fulfil all the following:

    The artist’s studio must be in a lakeside suburb.

    Artists must have a dedicated space where their art is created. Artists without a dedicated studio may apply with an alternate location e.g. Community Centre. Should this be the case, permission must be sought prior to application.

    A collaboration of financial Open Studios Tour members is acceptable, if the location represents a working studio, rather than an exhibition space.

    Artists selected must provide images and a biography, to be used for the Open Studios Tour website and marketing materials. This material should be a true representation of the Artists work.

    Participating studios must be approved by the committee of the Lake Macquarie Open Studios Tour Inc. All decisions of the committee are final.
